Travel Around At Rizal Park

Hi everyone, I know most of the Filipino people had gone to Rizal Park but I wanted to do a blog about it because I wanted to travel to parks or tourist spots near my place. Rizal Park was named after the Philippines national hero, Dr. José Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda. The Rizal Park was actually known for the the name Luneta Park instead of Rizal Park, it is located at Roxas Boulevard City of Manila. This is one of the most important site in the history of the Philippines because on this place took the execution of the Philippines national hero.

Here is the Rizal Monument. The statue that is standing is Dr. Jose Rizal, they said that Jose Rizal's body was buried there. There were actually guards in the Monument but when we got there, no guards, because I think it's Sunday.

The park has so much more than the monument of Rizal. When you walk around you will see a lot of things including the Martyrdom of Jose Rizal, here you will see Rizal's farewell to his family because he was executed by the Spanish Government. There are Statue's that shows you from his imprisonment in Fort Santiago up to the moment when he got shot. The entrance at Martyrdom of Jose Rizal is I think 10 pesos for the students and 20 pesos for regular (at day time) but at the evening the price is higher it is 50 pesos each (students and regular) because it has a little show at the evening

This is the picture of Rizal being executed, there is a firing squad behind him.
And this is the summary of his life when he was arrested, being brought to jail, his farewell, and being in court.

I'm sorry If I haven't taken pictures around the park because we are really there to do a documentary about this particularly spot in the Rizal park so I haven't got any chance to go around the park, but I think this is the most important place in the park
